Must-do course for aspiring data scientists/miners! This is an excellent course in large scale data mining. It focuses on applying machine learning and data mining to big data.
The professors are thorough and explain the subject in a way that any one can understand. Profs. Leskovec and Rajaraman are excellent!
It covers a variety of techniques like Clustering, Support Vectors, Decision trees, to data mining techniques and graph analysis problems, all in great detail and in an easy to understand manner.
I bought the book, and this course certainly helped in simplifying some of the sections that were not so easy to grasp.
