Introductory course that uses various activities and exercises to provide the basic principles and methods of biology. Lab topics include: the scientific method, DNA structure, transcription and translation, PCR and microarrays, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, photosynthesis, glycolysis and cellular respiration, genetics, and cell division.
